Requirement Types

Requirement Types are used to sort Requirements into distinct classifications. The names you choose for each type will depend on the structure of your organisation. Some examples of a Requirement Type can include:

  • Statutory Checks (e.g. Police, Working with Children)
  • Licences (e.g. Driving, Forklift)
  • Qualifications (e.g. University Degree, Certificate in Nursing)
  • Training (e.g. Induction, Fire, First Aid)
  • Skills
  • Accreditation

To view the list of Requirement Types:

Navigate to the correct page from the Requirements drop-down list.

To add a new Requirement Type:

Use the add button at the top of the list to create a new Requirement Type.

To deactivate a Requirement Type:

You can deactivate a Requirement Type by selecting the edit icon shown below, then changing the status to inactive. You can also do this using the edit button from the individual Requirement Type's page. Once it is inactive, it will be hidden from the main list, but can be found by filtering the results using the more* button. Deactivating is reversible; you can use the edit icon again to restore it to active.

To permanently delete a Requirement Type (admin only):

To delete a Requirement Type, it must first be made inactive. You can use the more* button to filter results to inactive or any, then use the bin icon to permanently delete the Requirement Type. All associated data, such as Requirements, will also be permanently deleted. This is not reversible.
